On Saturday, March 23, Katrina sings with VAMP at 8:15 PM in Justice Phillips’ “Praise and Grief” (text by Jennifer Bloom) and “We Dreamers” by Shawn Allison Brogan (text by Laura Mercado-Wright).
She conducts Inversion Ensemble at 10:15 PM the premiere of Steven Sérpa’s “From a Porch Swing”, a choral song cycle on Jeffery Beam’s collection of poems Verdant, the composer’s fourth work on his poetry. Performing with Inversion’s 16-piece professional mixed ensemble are two-time Grammy Award-winning soprano Hilá Plitmann, banjo player Rita Bliss, Camille Schiess on violin/fiddle, Mallory McHenry on harp, and Dana Wygmans on bass.
